I have, through rp, enabled three people in the last year into One Piece. They've all binged it in some form and caught up in a couple months. I've also got plurkfriends doing the same thing. It's never too late and if there's one thing I can say for OP fandom, we love enabling new fans and squeeing with them as they get into it.

I spent way too long after reading this secret thinking that the "Most Girls" you were talking about was the one also by P!nk, and I was like "...huh, really?".

Looking up the lyrics to other one, though, this secret makes way more sense. ;)

The point - to me - is that there's no longer a hard-and-fast distinction to make. It's not hived off in its own little corner, it's not opaque or hidden to most people. Yes, there's varying degrees of depth there. But it's a continuum now, not a separate thing. People are much more familiar with the basic concepts. It's much harder to point to something and say "this isn't fandom" or "this is fandom". And that's only going to become more and more true as we continue moving into our brave new future of social media.

Yeah, he's a cute/super-talented kid, but his stans are something else. (I guess all the stans for young actors that I've seen be out here wildin'. Everything I see is RPF for him/Millie Bobby Brown or Jack Dylan Grazer. Kids these days.)

I wonder if season 3 of Jessica Jones is going to experience a drop off in ratings that also leads to cancellation, though. I haven't heard many people say they actually enjoyed it, much less thought it was as strong as season 1.
