Oh, and I forgot - there are a few feature-length films that are quasicanonical and need to be watched to understand a few things that get discussed in fandom. That said, *technically speaking* they are not canon and can be omitted if time constraints prohibit.

Also there is considerable heat over whether one should watch the 'filler' arcs, and the quality *does* vary somewhat. However on the whole, I do like them and I feel it's worth watching them.

We started a month ago, we're at 264! (skipping filler)

I wish my roommate would want to watch filler before we get to the current episodes, but she wants to marathon it and then we can go back. I could just go watch them myself without her, but we're making it a team watch so I guess I'll just be patient. :< Is it ok to watch the entire series without the movies or is there a point you should probably interject them?
