I'll admit my knowledge on Brazilian politics is poor, but from what I understand, the incumbent president is "less corrupt" or claims to wipe out said corruption (because the political arena there is rife with it). And many of his speeches/ideology/ possible policies could be harmful to black folk and gay folk in Brazil.

Anybody here from/familiar with Brazil/its politics?

NAYRT—apparently this dude is basically Trump on steroids and is cool with killing gay people, rape, the genocide of indigenous people, and the clear-cutting of the Amazon rainforest. His opponent wasn’t great but was also not cartoonishly evil. He does not sound like the kind of dude whose definition of corruption I’d agree with.
