Circus peanuts, smarties, laffy taffy, and tootsie rolls.

the only tootsie rolls I ever liked were the vanilla ones and they stopped making those

Oh, no. You can buy a bag of mixed flavor Tootsie Rolls - fruit stuff - and they have the vanilla ones in there.

they must have brought them back, last time I went through a bag of those vanilla had been replaced by raspberry but that was a few years ago.

Ah, yeah. They have lime, orange, lemon, cherry and vanilla. Very tasty (i don't actually like the vanilla).

I keep forgetting Americans call Rockets Smarties, because everytime I see Smarties I think of our Smarties which our chocolate and am all, "Who could hate chocolate?!"

Wow, I had no idea Rockets are called Smarties in the US. I don't love Smarties, so I always just kind of shrug when I see people saying they hate them, but I have sometimes thought that the hate for them was oddly disproportionate. I mean, they're chocolate; they're not that different from M&M's. Now I get it.

Yeah our Smarties taste different than M&Ms but I don't super have a preference for either one.

I personally love Rockets though, so even the US Smarties hate makes no sense to me, though it's possible they taste different.
