Re: How should I get more light in my room?

There are those little plastic(?) vent covers that redirect airflow to different parts of the room. Putting one on the vent under your bed should help at least a little... Honestly though, I'd invest in a space heater, they're probably the next best cost effective, while being the most versatile...

I'd say painting the room a brighter colour would help as well, but I'm not sure if it that's an option... Otherwise, light coloured paintings, and/or mirrors, maybe. I'll emphasize mirrors though, as they both reflect light, and enlarge the room. But if wallspace is limited, hanging them in corners, offsetting windows, would work well, if it's available.

Plants also bring life into a room. An indoor greenhouse, along with respective lighting, shouldn't take up much spare in and of itself. If not, then even your favourites of the fake variety might help.

And if all else fails, a nightlight. They're rather versatile, and come in pretty much every shape and size.

I just hope any of this helps;; You deserve a place that makes you happy!

Painting isn't an option right now, but in the future it will! I want to get some plants with a sun lamp. That will help both me AND the plants. THank you for your suggestions. I am buying a space heater this weekend for under my desk. :)
