Ahh~! I'm so glad things went so well with your presentation! (and I have to say kudos again on the pun~ it really is simply fantastic!!)


While it might not fall under 'dastardly plans'... when I was in grade 8 the principal had just been replaced. The new one functioned as both that, and teacher for the second 8th grade class.
He was an utter ass simply put... During one of the subjects he taught us, I attempted to answer a question. As I tried to phrase the answer, I'd pause with a 'hmm', or an 'uhh'. Immediately he'd mock me, interrupting me by yelling 'uhh' anytime I'd pause, or said it myself... It'd only derail me further, and made answering impossible. So after the fifth or so time he did it, I just sat back in my seat, glared, and refused to say another word. It worked. I never participated in his class after that, and he never called on me again.
The bastard was out to get me, I swear though... he even pointed out during lunch one day earlier, that I had food stuck in my teeth. Tried to get the entire class' attention about it too... Never understood why...

JUST finished watching The Ritual. It was okay I guess. Not amazing. But a decent horror flick. Didn't like the ending, but I'm not a fan of a lot of horror films endings. Either they just end abruptly and nothing is explained, or they feel tacked on and don't go with the rest of the film (IMO).

I'm playing Soul Calibur 6, if that counts! Dicking around in the character creation and despite it being fairly limited (considering what some other games are doing with character creation these days), I somehow managed to cobble together an absolutely perfect version of one of my OCs, right down to her mannerisms and fighting style. It's making me weirdly emotional, lmao.

Time to make her brother and her girlfriend!

I've got Stingray Loud on - the 'heavy music' station (hard rock, heavy metal, alternative, some hip hop, some ska)... At this very moment the Forever Loud block is playing Greta Van Fleet - When the Curtain Falls.

Which is...actually the most consistent viewing I've done lately...I'll take a break to catch my regular shows, but...most of the day Loud is on.

burn to order--need help to torture a character, please

Search engine doesn't help me and I'm too chicken to go ask little_details just yet, can you please help me, F!S users?
I need to maim a character's hand with fire. I'd rather avoid life-threatening infection if possible but he needs scarring and permanent damage.

I first wanted to have him place his hand atop a big altar candle but I was told the burn wouldn't be bad enough. I was advised to find a way to use a stove and I can do with touching a still-hot barbecue. Problem is, I'm not sure how the wound will work.
A hand is not perfectly flat, would different bits be affected differently or won't it matter? Can the heat immediately fry off the nerves and block out all sensations or will he be in a world of pain? If nerves within the palm are damaged, what about blood vessels, will it kill off the fingers by cutting out the blood supply?
