Nick Stokes got kidnapped and buried alive on CSI. He is attacked by and and nearly blown up. But it is hardly ever mentioned again. Like he is reluctant to go into an underground bunker in one episode but that is it. Also, he grew a terrible mustache. So maybe that was the outcome.

yeah, this! and he had fire ant bites and no scars?? I have bedbug bite scars that are a few years old and fire ant bites are WAAAAAAY worse than bedbug bites!

That seemed to be a lot of Nick Stokes storylines:
Nick's a sexual assault survivor! Not mentioned again.
Nick's suspected of murdering a one-night stand! Not mentioned again.

Yeah;; I always had such a soft spot for Nick since the show loved to beat up on him.

Haha, right? Though to be fair, that episode was so awful it's best forgotten.
