I don't mean someone who's just scary or dangerous, I mean clinical sociopathy.

No empathy whatsoever for humans nor animals, mostly. Occasional streaks of cruelty. Anger at the thought they might consider me broken and/or a monster, lack of guilt over it.
I totally suck at manipulating people, however. If I have to be a monster, I'd rather be an efficient one, please.

Yup. My uncle. He's completely incapable of empathy. He doesn't even understand it as a concept or think it is a valid thing or something people should try to have. His entire worldview is about himself and what is good for himself. He's great at faking being nice, but it is pretty obvious that it is not coming from a legitimate place and that he's only doing it to help himself.

Possibly my bro-in-law. There’s a total lack of empathy, but I don’t know if it’s a learned survival mechanism or actual sociopathy. I’m leaning towards the latter since we’ve been told by professionals that he’s dangerously manipulative.

My friend's brother. He never seemed to think about anyone but himself or show any sympathy to anyone and he was mean to people and animals.

I grew up with a family member who has Narcissistic Personality Disorder. Basically a Sociopath with zero self-awareness.

Aside from the obvious I found the compulsive lying very irritating because even things that should be easy to get answers on will be lies as well. It's disruptive and the behaviour never improves or changes. It's very repetitive.
