Every job rejection, but whatever.

Or the California Wildfires meaning that AFI cancelled the premieres of Widows and Destroyer but that pales in comparison to the loss of life and property so I didn't want to say it.

The ending of American Horror Story Apocalypse. What a terrible ending. Did not give me any desire to go watch any of the other seasons. I really enjoyed most of the season, but that ending really ruined it.

A poutine place opened in town and I was so eager to try it out with some friends! ...turns out, it's not a restaurant, only take-away, which sucks when you have nowhere to go eat it.

Tumblr told me the Venom movie was gay as fuck. It was fun. It was entertaining. Eddie and his symbiote's relationship was great. But... it wasn't that explicit. And it could have used more tongue and tentacles.

I want to read 15 books next year. And try to bake something new every month. Got to make lists for both.

I want to stretch myself when it comes to driving and become a bit more independent. I have a few stores/restaurants that I've mapped out non-highway routes to, and I'm going to try doing more of that. And a couple other adult-type stuff like getting a credit card.

I know this is cliché as hell but I want to lose 30 pounds. I don’t know if I can and I doubt if I do that I’ll be able to keep it off long, but I’ve spent my whole life barring the first couple months pudgy to fat—I’m so short that at my current weight of 144 lbs I’m obese and 120 is my highest possible “normal” weight, which I haven’t been since I was 12. I’m on track to keep my distance walked at 5 miles a day for the year—last year was 2.9. I may even have gained some weight since last year, but I like to cook and love to eat and hopefully put on some muscle.

Aside from not eating prepared food/snacks/refined sugar and cutting portions in half, I can’t think what else to do. I’ve never dieted and think fad diets like Paleo are stupid and keto is straight up dangerous. I don’t drink alcohol and have maybe two sodas a year, and I haven’t eaten meat in decades. I guess I could cut out dairy, but man that will suck. There’s no point in cutting out eggs because my hens lay no matter what I eat.

Get back in shape (or at least physically healthier so that I can sleep through the night and have energy during the day), but I'm trying to start that, like, now.

Continue losing weight! I've lost 75 pounds this year, and I've got 106 to go until I'm at my goal weight (I'm fat, I know) so I'm going to keep on keeping on with what I'm doing.

(And, other weight loss anon, I do keto and my everything is healthier and my doctor is 100% on board with what I'm doing.)

I need to lose at least twenty pounds. I've gotten really uncomfortable with how my body looks and want to change that. I've been walking in the mornings and afternoons, but I know I need to make some major diet changes. Cutting down on my sugar intake is hella hard though 'cause I love sweets.

We are actually doing our Thanksgiving celebration this weekend (since my sister is having her baby in two weeks). So tomorrow will be A LOT of cooking. I am still deciding if I am going to make homemade bread of not.

Fandom advice/thoughts/whatever - question for people who write RPF

(Anyone who has any fandom questions or wants to rant or share thoughts or whatever, feel free to change the subject line and put them here.)

Anyway, to the people who write/have written RPF: were you ever conflicted about it? Do you post it anywhere or just share it with friends? Are you ever afraid of the people it's about finding it?

I'm seriously contemplating writing some for the first time. I've gotten really into a certain ship and man, I just want so much fic about them - domestic fluff, darkfic, random AUs, just everything. But although there's a good amount of fic for the fandom itself there's none for this particular pairing, so I'm thinking of writing some myself. I can't get past the whole "this is wrong and you shouldn't do it" feeling, though. Obviously, I would never send it to the actual people or anything ridiculous like that but they're both semi-active on social media and I could see someone else coming across it and sending it to them thinking it'd be funny or something, which I would feel horrible about.

What are your thoughts?
