I agree- when I found out they were just figurines, I was genuinely surprised. I always thought they had a purpose to some game or console, and that was why they all generally looked the same...
I mean acton figures and dolls/plushies at least have a purpose, given they can be displayed and actually look like the given character, or snuggled up to/play with.
The name Funkopops, I'd at least expect some kind of candy inside...

Looking like they do I doubt you can really take them out of the box and remember which one's which. They're like Lego toys, but those you can at least build and play with;;

No candy inside, but some of them come in cereal boxes.
