Meh, people can express excitement and appreciation for fics in much better ways than this, IMO. If you don't mind it, fine, but your attitude seems to be here that writers should feel grateful and flattered to get these kinds of "requests" and I disagree. There's a difference between discussing fic, characters, etc. and asking writers for spoilers (or worse, readers describing how they think the story should go).
