Yeah, it always sucks when you want to speak your piece but the conversation's moved on.

I once made a comment that I guess I phrased wrong (not anonymously) that led an anon who said they knew me to believe I shipped Justin Bieber with his dad. (That's what the secret was about, sort of.) I really wanted to say something but by the time I saw the comment it was eight hours old and I figured I would only make it worse.

When I was just getting back into FS I had a tendency to reply to old posts... I knew no one was going to respond, but I felt better just saying what I had to say. (besides, I'm not exactly early to the party as it is right now;;)

So if people are taking your secret out of context- just reply as the OP, no matter how late it might be. There's always the chance someone might see it, and otherwise, the fact you set them straight means you don't have to think about it anymore.
