I think "main" is a little strong. I think that assigns it too much influence. But I think there's a lot of truth to what you're saying otherwise, in terms of how the logic of the show works, and the kinds of positions it takes.

It's good that the Simpsons is going to be easier to watch! But the continuing concentration of wealth and resources in our society in the hands of a few megacorporations is a little bit of a downside.

Me too, OP. Love me some Morena Baccarin, and I feel like the character has potential to be more interesting/be more involved in the plot (esp. if they take inspiration from the comics).

Our brains are so weird. I have friends who really like Lawrence Block's books about the hitman but just cannot handle the ones starring the burglar. It's so interesting and funny to find random things that make us go Nope!

You shouldn't have to feel like you can't say this openly, OP. When Aaliyah died I was devastated but some of my friends didn't care. Didn't ruin our friendships.
