Even if you think that the show is genuinely nihilistic and takes sides equally, you can still criticize that. It's not like the show goes out into the world and makes no impact on anyone. I don't get this argument.

A show doing a single episode where they mock a politician using his fame to promote an issue he cares anout is not what I would call "fucked up". Over the top violence and a plethora of rape and violence jokes directed at child characters treated as the height of comedy? Much more fucked up in my eyes.

And sure, the show doesn't exist in a vacuum. I just think it's weird that this issue, of all the things, is what the show gets this sudden backlash from.

Climate change is killing people in real life. It will kill more people than it otherwise might have if counterstrategies hadn’t been fought tooth and nail by dipshits who fell for South Park’s propaganda.

Someone who does believe climate change is real will not suddenly be brainwashed into believing it's not by a single cartoon episode, likewise, someone not believing in it wouldn't have been convinced it exists should the episode have stated so.

They don't take shots on absolutely everything. It is heavily skewed towards making fun of liberal ideas and they NEVER make fun of liberalism (guess what political party they belong to).

They do make plenty of jokes about conservative issues as well. And quite honestly, there are other shows who almost exclusively follow a more leftist/liberal agenda as well.
And I assume you mean libertarianism, which yeah, true, but libertarians are not republicans last time I checked.
