No where. I am glad Tumblr is getting rid of child porn. It sucks it happened at the same time there was a bug deleting blogs. Just contact them if that happened to you and get your blog back.

I have no problem with them deleting child porn but is that *actually* all they're doing?

Have you seen anything otherwise???

I don't see everything in the world...

So, no. But hey, keep on being all conspiracy. Just don't go too far down the rabbit hole or you might start using ((( ))).

According to my dash, there are fandom blogs being reported by antis going down too :/

Then you just contact Tumblr and they fix it.

Many have, and have only gotten silence or some vague reply about their content being forbidden despite only having SFW blogs or content that's not forbidden by Tumblr's rules.

Oh ffs. Of course they are...

Re: Tumblr: the strikethrough

(Anonymous) 2018-11-24 09:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. There are at least some blogs that have been deleted that were not child porn. Guesses are that Tumblr is deleting blogs that have been reported, even if the reports are not true/the blogs were targeted for spurious reasons.

Then you just contact Tumblr and they fix it. Do you think Tumblr is the ONLY place where this happens? It happens on literally any large site ever.

That's a lot of good faith you're ascribing to Tumblr based on ???

Re: Tumblr: the strikethrough

(Anonymous) 2018-11-24 10:26 pm (UTC)(link)
The fact that people who have gotten their blogs deleted posting how they got their blogs back.

Not everybody who has gotten their blog deleted in this mess has gotten restored.

Ah yes. Because the Tumblr staff is so great at fixing things. Must be coincidence that the app has been a broken mess for ages and gets worse with every update.

Well, there is this post, in which an artist claims they got terminated for drawing tentacle porn and aged up porn of the Deltarune characters, among other things:
http://olderthannetfic.tumblr.com/post/180464018484/summary

Worth noting this little line in the email they got back:
This termination is final, and replies to this message will not be reviewed.

There's also a bunch of tweets on twitter about artists not getting their accounts back.

SA
Also, it's worth noting that a lot of bigname bloggers like Pervocracy got snapped, despite not posting any NSFW art, much less NSFW art of minors. Pervocracy's blog went down on Tuesday, and as far as I know it still hasn't been reinstated.

Me and a number of people I know have been deleted despite never posting child porn, and contacting Tumblr has done nothing. We are still waiting for responses, and some people have had their blogs banned permanently. I'm glad Tumblr is getting rid of images of child abuse as well, but the way they are doing it is one that targets innocent people and doesn't even get a lot of the porn bots etc since there are so many still on that site.

Exactly zero of the 50+ porn boys that follow me have been deleted. Sigh. I'm glad they're FINALLY doing something about child porn, tho (I've never seen cp on Tumblr but I take people's words for it that it's there, or was there).

Re: Tumblr: the strikethrough

Porn BOTS, not boys. Sheesh.

I was like, damn, how do I get porn boys to follow me? XD
