I have found good work through temp agencies. If you know how to do basic office stuff at all I think it's a good idea to sign up for one. (I don't type that well but they were still able to find me a couple of jobs.) Back when I did it I went into their office but that was a long time ago. But I'm sure they're pretty user-friendly about it because they want people to sign up.
