Fuuuck. I'm definitely not going to watch this show because it looks like a little kids' cartoon but RIVAL FEMSLASH IS 100% WHAT I'M HERE FOR.

I ship both slash and femslash, but slash is so much easier to get excited about because you're so much more likely to get deliciously homoerotic rivalmances. It's so much more difficult to find good sexy f/f rivalmances, especially ones that don't involve the women being sisters or something.

Maybe give watching Glass Mask a go. You'll probably despise the fuck out of the main canon male love interest, but the two rival actresses had far more chemistry and I shipped it way more than I thought I was gonna.

It's a....PG cartoon. I wouldn't call it "little kids". It's about on the level of S2 Last Airbender in terms of thematic depth/silly cartoon hearts and friends vibes.

they don't call each other sisters, they call each other *best friends*, and shadow weaver may be an abusive semi-parental figure to both of them, but they definitely aren't "adopted siblings" in any recognizable sense related to our idea of nuclear family with Designated Kids

and the "I CAN'T CONDONE SHIPPING THIS" brigade has big big issues with insisting that their discomfort is objective morality that everyone else has to acknowledge regardless of nuance, critical thought, or garden variety disagreement
