Season 8 of Project Runway. Everyone ganged up on Michael Costello. Gretchen started it, but Ivy really ran with it. She accused him of cheating several times without anything to back it up. Also, she was paired with a different designer at one point, dumbed down her design, and then claimed he couldn't sew and blamed him for her own failings.

Basically, she was a terrible person and totally earned the poison ivy nickname.

The only good thing with her was the scene where she says she believes in karma and that Michael C would get some. And then she gets hit in the eye with a needle. Obviously sliced together, but still really cathartic.

Poor Michael, that was such a hard season to watch at times, but like... if anyone deserved to get hit in the eye with a needle...

I'm sure she works her ass off, but she's a nobody in the fashion world. And that's all she has the talent or personality for, so it all worked out well IMO.

That's my favorite season BTW.

The only thing I really remember about this season was how awful both her and Gretchen came across, as people and as designers. I used to watch the show with a friend, and we made a drinking game that was something like "take a shot every time Ivy says something catty", and "take a shot every time Gretchen gets by on walmart-tier designs."

She was bad - but what about that arse who fat-shamed a woman on national TV? What was his name...did the same outfit every week?
VEN! That was his name. Complete jerk.
