Yes, yes he is. I haven't watched the show in years, but Gibbs irritated me MORE than Tony - he's arrogant in a completely different way, and unlike Tony, never gets punished for it.

(Tony is sexist, but he also got schooled for his sexism, esp by Kate. Gibbs? ALWAYS FUCKING RIGHT.)

Except... they didn't kill Zack off to replace him with Sweets?

I love both of them and I do think the show would be... poorer for the lack of a better word w/o Sweets but I don't think it had to be an either or situation.

Also, I will forever hate what they did to Zack because it was just terrible from start to finish, it made no sense, it was dealt with abruptly and then they revealed he never actually killed anyone and that was just ignored and... Yeah, hating it forever.

normalize unrequited attraction that requires nothing from the target

IT'S FINE TO BE ATTRACTED TO SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T OR COULDN'T RETURN THAT FEELING, especially if that person is a celebrity completely unaffected by you

like, don't send him weird flirty messages on twitter or something, obviously it's possible for ordinary people to impact a celebrity's life in a creepy way, but like...

just in general, we have such tangled-up societal ideals about attraction and entitlement. maybe if it were OKAY to say "I'm attracted to X, they would never be attracted to me, and it's fine" we'd have less weight in some of our other weird sexual hang-ups

I've been watching several streamers do full-series playthroughs in anticipation of KH3, and as someone who never got into the series BECAUSE of the clunky controls... it really seems like they didn't figure it out until Dream Drop Distance. Which is a hell of a ways in, and has its own slew of issues (really, having TWEWY character and a billion mechanics and minigames, and not ONE of them is Tin Pin??).

I can't say I regret missing out on it. It really is just some higher-up's glorified fanfic epic brought to life via throwing money at various devs and hoping one of them makes something playable.

Agreed, also less Hades as the Big Bad of all Greek mythology when he was mostly just a grumpy loner. Zeus is the cause of most of the problems in the legends, that or his kids, or Hera.
