I think letting Heidi have any say in the decisions in a design competition is questionable at best. She plays favourites to the max without even trying to be subtle about it and she has no taste whatsoever. No matter what, as long as it's short, skimpy and borderline trashy, she'll love it.

(Sorry. I just really can't stand her. I may be influenced by her bullshit on Germany's Next Topmodel where she is even more vile than on PR but damn. She's terrible.)

I kind of agree. I still like her for championing Mondo on season 8, though. In that season (and maybe that season alone), she was right about who should have won, and Garcia and Kors were wrong.

I actually think most of the judges, especially Garcia, have demonstrated an astounding amount of "questionable taste levels" over time for all that they love going on about that. I really believe it's time for an entirely new cast of judges.

I definitely agree with you. I think the revamp could be good since it looks like there will be new judges.

The production meddling into PR is getting ridiculous. I'm extremely on the fence with the move back to Bravo. I'm hoping that there will be less producer meddling and with Heidi gone maybe less favorites played.

On the other hand, Tim Gunn is also gone and over to Amazon with Heidi and Tim is the reason I watch the show. I feel his heart has been in it less though b/c of the lackluster contestants.

I almost left the season of Brandon from the Academy of Art almost won. I WENT to the Academy. I know how shitty their curriculum is and so much one trick pony. Then he made a classic blunder (they don't teach GROUPS at the Academy, it's RIDICULOUS) and the Asian won instead. (And I got why.) At the same time Puerto Rico girl got blasted for being "Miami" and I hit the roof. (I live in FL now.)

Lifetime either didn't pick good contestants (and I blame Mondo in LA) or couldn't attract good sponsors. So budget kept getting cut and so did challenge time and that KILLED the best design competition on TV. (And I've watched 99% of the others.)If Bravo extends challenge time and ups the budget, maybe, maybe the show will still be good. But um, good luck with Mood, they're sick of it.
