It's stupid, I hate it, I hate the gatekeeping and corporatization of the Internet, I hate Apple, and I hate Verizon. It's just such a stupid change and I hate that we can't stop society from backsliding on stuff like this because we've given corporations and the wealthy all the power and money.

The problem with making a new website is that, to beat Tumblr, you have to have as much sharing and social capability as Tumblr, and I think most fan groups don't want to do that. And also, it's hard to build and fund a site that's built around image hosting and sharing, especially with adult content in mind, and not fuck it up completely, and not run it at a huge loss. I dunno if anyone's actually going to pull it off. It just bums me out so much and I didn't even use Tumblr that much.
