I hate it because

a) I'm horrible at mass chats
b) I'm on bloody eurotime anyway
c) the ones I've been on have been full of teenagers. And no offense to the teens, honestly, but I prefer the choice of filtering out the complaints about homework and parents and omg only u gais understand me.

Yeah I hate discords, too. I had my fill of chatrooms in the 90s/early 00s.

That's pretty much where I stand as a whole. And actually, I never even liked chatrooms that much back then. They were always either dead when I got on, or people ignored everything you said or changed the subject on you. I liked the mini chats I could do with friends, but that was about it.
