God, same. And to the people who say "You just haven't had them prepared the right way!!!!", yeah I've them and they're still tasting like dirt.

I hate people who say "you just didn't do it right!". Sometimes someone just doesn't like a taste. It's not that deep.

Especially silly with beets because the super earthy flavour is the point of those things and imo if you prepare them in a way where you can't taste that anymore you might as well not eat beets. I love the earthy taste but am aware that it's definitely a matter of taste and preference...
