God, I know. I was okay with romance involving older characters than me at that age, but I definitely wouldn't have related to middle school jealousy triangle drama (even acknowledging that some 12-year-olds have crushes and date?). And with how much of it they had in S2 I worry they're going to feel the need to have like, established puppy love relationship conflict.
