As much as I enjoyed gthe second book, I still missed Eli a lot... and heck, I felt like it was more about Anakin/Darth Vader than it was about Thrawn and I just don't care?

If you took a close-up photo of a nipple, and you couldn't see anything else of the person it belonged to, how would you know if it was a female presenting nipple or not?

A nipple itself doesn't "present" as anything.

A nipple is only obscene if the surrounding person presents themself as female.

A nipple isn't obscene until it is shown in a certain context.

I have my alarm set at 6:30. I'd do better to wake up earlier, but my boss doesn't care that I look like I combed my hair with a wagon wheel so 6:30 it is.

My first alarm is set for 6:10 and my second for 6:20. I try to get into work by 7:15 so I can leave early.

I wake up about 8:00 or 8:30. Most days I'm supposed to be at work by 10:00 am. (I work until 6:30 pm.)

I finally get to be on Supernatural! Just as a background extra, so it's nothing glamorous, but I've been doing Background for like 3.5 years, and I've never been book for SPN. And I've always wanted to be on it at least once. I'm not in the fandom or anything, but SPN is such a huge thing in fandom, and I've just always hoped I'd get to be on the show before it ends (in 2058, lol). And today my agency booked me for it. \0/

I just paid half my property taxes today (~$117 more than I make in a month, oof) and now I want to reward myself by buying Christmas presents for myself (and my tiny remaining family and one friend and a couple coworkers because I like finding good gifts for people) but I just spent $240 at the vet over the last couple weeks (and I have to soak my poor silkie chicken’s foot abscess and change her bandages and would like six extra hands) and have other bills to pay.

My house is old and in need of extensive, expensive repairs and new appliances and paint. Blah. I’m a long way from starving in a gutter even if I do buy a bunch of presents, but I hate feeling like most of the stuff I enjoy doing (buying non-essential stuff, eating junk food, most of my hobbies) makes me an irresponsible time/money waster.
