I would assume something like this they showed you plans/sketches/potentially in progress pics? If not, I don't know what to tell you. Suck it up and be polite? If it's something that can be altered relatively simply, maybe say something like, "It's almost like I imagined, but is there a chance we can change the colour?" or something?
