I'm okay with the fact that they exist and I can usually avoid them fine if I'm searching for a particular pairing, although they come up in fandoms where I'm just looking for any fic in general. They feel kind of icky to me because I feel like I'm getting right in there with someone's personal fantasy about banging this character, and it's like I just walked in on someone having sex or doing something else private. I'm cool with reading someone's fantasy about two fictional characters banging, though! There's enough distance there.
