I'm coming up blank. The actor best friends I can think of have all been in multiple movies together.

Anyway, maybe, but sometimes, even people who are actual couples (and have on-screen chemistry) and are good actors fail in this.

I don't watch Bojack Horseman and I've never been through a divorce (or marriage, for that matter) but I can certainly sympathize with a show you like focusing on a plotline that hits too close to home or reminds you of painful parts of your life. It's been years and I still can't watch anything which involves losing loved ones to dementia or any sort of degenerative disease.

N!S: I love this pairing, in part because Rapp and Cruz are both out as gay IRL, and their chemistry really works for me. I was very upset when Discovery killed Dr. Culber.

S: The reason I'm so upset? It wasn't the Bury Your Gays trope usage by a show that should've known better. I'm upset because Discovery's short, tight season, combined with its grimdark tone and the death of Culber, means we won't ever get a campy musical episode with them. They both have ties to RENT, were successful in theatre productions, and Cruz can play the saxophone! There could have been a musical number in the fungal forest! A duet while they brush their teeth and got ready for bed! Hugh could have serenaded Paul with a sexy sax solo on the holodeck! WE WERE FUCKING ROBBED.

Was Queenie supposed to be mentally ill? I was disturbed by the "drug him to marry her" thing too, and this off-joke about how she doesn't like it when he calls her crazy. But then she really *did* seem to go off the deep end and he calls her crazy more seriously at the end. If she was legit supposed to be crazy, it bothers me less than if it were just played for laughs.
