as I said, the woman who sang it (I can't remember her name now) said it wasn't, which confused the hell out of me.

That doesn't make it a controversial opinion, though. Pretty much everyone over the age of maybe 10 who hears the song thinks it's about masturbation. And that the singer is straight up lying, if they've heard the denials.
