On a tangentially related note, I always get confused when I pop into a conversation about mlm because I have to wait for context to figure out if they're talking about LGBT stuff or multi-level marketing. I mean, if it's at work I can ASSUME it's multi-level marketing, but I don't KNOW it's multi-level marketing.

I kind of want to make a joke about gay normalization using the multi-level marketing spiel but I can't quite find how without making it weird. I mean, I could do it with slash fic and fandom, but not with real mlm.

See I saw mlm being used for LGBT men first so whenever I see posts on some sites I lurk on talking about how awful 'mlm' companies are I get confused for a moment wondering what on earth LGBT-men have to do with selling overpriced and dodgy make-up.
