Re: Your favorite Christmas candy/baked goods!

I know panettone is really an Easter thing, but it mostly shows up in the US at Christmas. Also mozartkugeln (which I want to try to make at some point but I’ve nearly destroyed a le creuset pan making sesame halvah so I’m scared of making two batches of marzipan.). And I love fudge, but about half the time mine turns out more like frosting unless I use that cheat where you mix melted chocolate with sweetened condensed milk and baking soda, and the texture’s just never quite right.

Christmas is the only time of year I buy those lindt chocolate truffle things, violet mints, chocolate dipped marzipan, and chocolate oranges, which make up a good third of my typical stocking stuffers.

Lindor truffles are probably my favorite type of chocolate. What flavors do you like best? And have you tried all the fancy flavors they only sell in the Lindt stores? (or maybe they do sell all the fancy flavors in grocery stores in other countries, I don't actually know. But in Canada we can only get about five or six flavors in grocery stores.)
