Re: how is your day going?
(Anonymous) 2018-12-21 06:32 am (UTC)(link)I went to the appointment, the to the grocery store and home, all the while feeling like there was something in my eye. I figured I had just scratched my eyeball a bit. I woke up the next morning with my eye hurting, but it quickly went away. Again, I felt like something was in my eye off and on all day. It wasn't until this evening that I pulled back my eyelid a bit and realized the side of my eye under my eyelid was really red and irritated. I couldn't have scratched that area, so something had to have gotten under my eyelid to do that. THE CONTACT WAS STILL IN MY EYE SOMEWHERE UNDER MY EYELID! I remembered that when this happens, you should look down while massaging your eyelid, so I did that and almost immediately the contact worked it's way down to where I could get it out. Whew!
The annoying thing is, the reason I went to the optometrist was because I had realized I was on my last pair of monthly contacts and needed to get new ones. The one in my eye had gotten folded and creased up in there and is now unbearable. The new ones won't come in until around the end of the month and I didn't ask if I could gave a trial pair. So, no contacts for me for the rest of the month! I hope it's not too sunny. I no longer have a functional pair of prescription sunglasses.
I HOPE MY CONTACT HAD A FUN ADVENTURE UP IN THERE.
