I like Tim Daly a lot. I've liked him since that super short-lived show, Eyes, of which he was the lead. I remember people joking about a decade back that he seemed cursed to have shows cancelled out from under him. I'm glad he seems to have broken that curse.

Brother of Tyne. Have you ever watched Wings? He was good in that. And From Earth to the Moon. He was also in this kind of dippy movie I like, Year of the Comet (though I will warn about the moustache).

Oh man, Tyne Daly. Tim is great, but Tyne is amazing. I've loved her in everything I've seen her in.

Have you tried the Murphy Brown continuation? She's playing Phil's sister, Phyllis, and she's running Phil's (Phil was the owner and bartender of the bar where everyone hung out or got news tips on the old show and his actor, Pat Corley, unfortunately passed away in 2006). The show is not for me, but maybe you'll enjoy it.

Nope. Never saw the original either. But if Tyne is in it, I may have to give it a try. I realy love her. Fell in love with her acting on Judging Amy, but she's been great in everything.
