I like Scottish boys names like Angus and Hamish.

For girls, probably Siobhan or Niamh.

I am Scottish and for most of my childhood they seemed such old man names to me. It is weird but nice to see them come back into circulation for wee boys again. Along with Alfred/Alfie, though that is more English.

I think old fashioned names are definitely on the comeback. There's a little girl called Nora in my village, which I definitely think of as an old lady's name.

A friend of mine just named her baby girl Niamh.
