..really?
I've never seen a movie where this happened that was in the romance genre. Maaaaybe a rom-com, but i don't much like those, and if that's the level of 'com' in it, it's not to my taste.

I'd like a romance that's damn practical and sensible and where everybody involved isn't a damn neurotic mess. You can still have passion and romance without drama-llama!!

There are a number of modern rom-coms that do fit that genre. The American Pie movies, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Zack And Miri Make A Porno are a few examples.

I can't stand gross-out comedies so I avoid them all like the plague. It's very easy to spot that kind of humour in the trailers and I will never understand why some people find them so hilarious.

HA, yes. *None* of those movies appeal, at all. I don't get that humor, either - never have.
