Haha. At least you misheard it in a way that made sense.
So many times I've stopped myself from singing weird made up lyrics that aren't even remotely right or even words that go together.

This is hilarious.

I need someone to rewrite When Doves Cry to match the story of Romeo and Juliet.

Now I can't unhear this, haha.

I really like that performance.

This totally makes sense! That Tybalt got around!

Well, the play predates the song after all. It could totally have been the lyric!

Yeah, I'm wondering if I misread the secret. There were also many Romeo and Juliet films before the song was written.

OP

True, but to my knowledge Prince didn't write it about anything Romeo & Juliet related.

OK Now I'm on board for a story where we learn about this choir boy's relationship with his father Tybalt!

Ha, I like this secret :D! It's funny the things you think you've heard sometimes listening to songs, isn't it?

LOL -- when I first heard this song as a kid, I guess I didn't know what "satisfied" meant, because I thought he was singing about his mother who never "sat inside." I imagined her standing all the time. LOL
