She has sole writing credit on FB 2. She's also listed as the producer. Even if she weren't, an author of Rowling's level probably has more clout, especially since this deal was certainly made after it was clear the HP series was a huge international hit.

I don't think wrote, produced and "has more clout" necessarily means she's the ultimate authority. But probably an adequate amount where some responsibility for how well or how badly the movie turns out can be laid at her doorstep.

That's literally it.

She's reached Lucasian levels of getting high on the smell of her own farts, and as with Lucas, it might be good if somebody went "okay, you made a nice thing but put it down now, you're spoiling it."
