Yeah we have one. It is great on fries, veggies and meats. My friend made fajita chicken in hers. Threw the spices on the chicken and popped it in and away she went. The veggies and meats taste mostly the same as if you have baked them in the oven but the fries do taste different. Not bad but if you have not cooked them with lots of oil, which is kind of the point, then they have another taste to them but I love it. So easy to just walk away. Another anon mentioned frozen fries. I have never put anything frozen in my fryer I will say that. But I love mine, especially on days I cannot. It makes wicked roast potatoes too. They are kind of loud though? So be aware of that if you didn't know already.

I don't eat meat but I love roast potatoes and don't generally make them because it's such a pain to do it in the oven. I'll have to look into this.

Wait, how do you do roasted potatoes in the oven? I just toss chunks of potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper and whatever spices I want, then it's into a 425 F oven for 35 - 40 minutes or until they're browned and crispy.

For whatever reason mine never seem to cook right. I agree that it shouldn't be very hard but that's the way it happens with me.

you don't even need to peel potatoes, unless that is your preference. or cut them up. if you leave big potatoes whole they will take your 50 minutes rather than 35-40, but it is super easy with the machine.
