JK is totally at the “Stephen King at the worst of his career” phase of writing fame where no one will edit her ideas or tell them they are bad even if they are. Which is something even the best writers need.

It's almost like HP remains a giant cash cow, and the studio execs are more than happy to keep raking in those sweet, sweet fanbucks.

My favourite thing with King is that they edited the Stand to cut the guy getting raped by a gun; but allowed the child gangbang in It with apparently no issues.
