I went grocery shopping and did laundry. Got my nails done. Going to make chicken and roast vegetables for dinner and watch the Alabama/Clemson game.

Sick (but less sick than I was yesterday and the day before)

So, I have accomplished very little

Aw, today was my first day back to work from being sick since going home Thursday and I am tired. Being sick is so exhausting and this lingering cough is not helping. Feel better soon!

Outside of year-end financial closing, I just finished my first PC build! It's my first desktop in nearly 20 years, and the first time I've used Windows as my at-home OS in...10? So I'm having a blast setting this thing up.

I've always wanted to try building my own desktop, but even pre-built electronics tend to hate me, I can only imagine trying to touch all the important stuff with my voodoo-filled little fingers.

My problem is I'm bad at details. ...that lead to my build time being hours longer than it should have because I forgot to measure ONE PART and overestimated my GPU clearance, so I had to reconfigure everything... and then learning the hard way that creating a bootable USB for Windows on a Mac is a PAIN IN THE ASS.

Eating some fries and celebrating that Soldier 76 on Overwatch is gay.

Same, and I don't care at all about Overwatch. I've played maybe once and I've picked up some lore through friend osmosis and that's about it, and I'm still like HA. YOU CAN'T HAVE HIM, STRAIGHTS. HE IS ONE OF ~THE QUEERS~ NOW.

This news amuses the fuck outta me because of all the DPS heroes I play, the two I gravitated the most towards are gay (S76 and Tracer) while I myself an gay too lmao

Had a doctor's appointment in the early morning to get my kidney's checked via ultrasound. I'd never had an ultrasound before and the lubed wand sliding over my belly and sides really tickled! I also had to get up early to drink a bunch of water so I'd have a full bladder, and it was annoying to have to pee and not being able to go until the appointment was over. Didn't get much sleep last night and my lunches are already made for the week, so I will be going to bed early.

Worked, decided to stop at the local hippie/organic grocery store and finally found the right cream to make clotted cream (yay!), then came back home to refrigerate it because I was paranoid about it sitting in the car (since it's not ultra pasteurized) while I went to another store, went back out to the other store and got a few things and now I'm back home. My favorite show is back from the holiday hiatus tonight and I've been looking forward to it but I'm so tired (only got 2 hours of sleep last night) that I think I might just go to bed and watch it on the DVR tomorrow.

Not feeling well. Left work early. Took a 5 hour nap.

Worked, which went fine. Going to go home and play Persona 5. I am finally getting the hang of it! And I'm enjoying it. So I may be able to finish the game after all.

Watching "Godless", arguing with my sister-in-law in Facebook messages, and hoping my missing friend contacts her aunt soon.
