Re: Favorite Episodes
(Anonymous) 2019-01-11 12:57 am (UTC)(link)Fight The Future is my favorite X-Files episode, but that probably doesn't count since it's, you know, a movie. I'm not even arguing it's the best or anything; it's just my favorite. Objectively, I'd say "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" is probably the "best" episode of the show, and it's probably my favorite actual episode.
I think "The Suitcase" was probably my favorite Mad Men episode (though I might feel different if I rewatched, idk).
"Fight" is my favorite Masters Of Sex episode. I remember feeling like I'd just seen something truly powerful and masterfully done when I watched that ep.
To this day I will defend the first episode of The OC as being legitimately good TV. (The rest of the series can fend for itself.)
I still really like the first episode of Sherlock, "A Study In Pink." Everything else is either meh or cringe.
I think "The Body" and "Once More With Feeling" are my favorite Buffy episodes, each for completely different reasons.
