I am a very boring person in a small shitty town...

I go to work, come home, play some video games, go to bed. I have spare income. I don't want to date (asexual). I don't have any close friends where I live. I am friendly with my coworkers. I don't like bars or drinking in public. What are some things I can do to make my life more exciting? I actually can't think of what people do.

Save up your spare income and take really dope vacations.

I dunno, this is pretty much my life and I'm quite happy with it. Second vacations, though. I do take really dope vacations.

Same. Replace gaming with reading/watching TV in the OP and it's totally me but I really like my life. I go on trips a couple times a year and it's always fun but usually by the end I'm ready to come back home...idk, I just like being at home.

Are you "boring" or bored? Because I would say I'm pretty similar and wouldn't argue if someone called my life boring, but I'm not really bored?

In theory I'd love to live closer to my BFF whom I take annual vacations to see, but moving countries is a fucking pain, and with 11 years at my current job and a really good pay cheque I am super reluctant to give that up when I am like... only three below the top in seniority which comes with perks.

Yep. I describe my life as boring myself all the time (like when people at work ask how my weekend was or something) because I know that by most people's standards it IS boring, but I'm fine with it.

Save that income and invest it if you can't think of anything else.

Go hiking, learn about the natural world. Super rewarding!
Spend time outdoors, go camping. Get in touch with your wild side.

That sounds like my life, except I read and sew instead of playing video games and I go out to walk my dog. Echoing the vacation suggestions. I love traveling to different places.
