I stopped watching Criminal Minds long ago, but I'm still sad it's ending. I just wanted to see how far they could take it. Really go for it, you know?

I checked out whichever season they did that "Reid in prison" storyline, I think.

I'm still watching, but yeah, I'm sad to see it go, too. I understand wrapping things up at this point-15 seasons is a pretty good run for any series, and it's a rare show that can last even longer than that and keep things fresh. But still, it's always tough to say goodbye anyway. Especially if you've watched the show from the very beginning (I didn't start watching until season 8, myself, but I know many of the fans have been there from day one).

I am very happy, though, that the cast and crew got the news ahead of time, so that they can have the time to plan out their final season and series finale episode, as well as come up with proper final storylines for the characters. The show and the fans deserve a proper farewell.

Same here. I kind of gave up on the show around season 12,I think Around the time Reid's girlfriend was killed by a serial killer. It's not even that the show was terrible, it was just...so diminished from how good it used to be.

Reid's girlfriend died in season eight. But he did have a pretty shitty time of it in season twelve, so if you didn't like the whole thing with his girlfriend being killed (and I agree on that), you probably wouldn't have liked what he went through later, either :p. The guy just could not catch a break for a time there.
