In this case, the male coworkers did support the fired actresses. Garcia's actress was the only one who didn't express support for them. She was also the only one to get a double paycheck to be in the (first) spinoff as well.

Didn't she start a petition or something? I thought Vangsness was one of the more vocal ones, but I could be forgetting something.

Yes, probably. The only interviews I saw were the ones where she only talked about getting to be on both shows and didn't express any sympathy. But if she actually did support them, then cool. Though I personally wish she'd turned down the other show in protest.
