... I mean, yeah, it sucks, but what did people expect? Assassin's Creed has always been about the forced het babies since they insisted on that bullshit with the "every character is a descendant of the historical player character!" for that ridiculous "DNA memory" gimmick.

Then they shouldn't have allowed you to romance same-sex characters. This makes all of that completely pointless, and honestly kind of annoying because they made such a big deal out of how Great and Inclusive they were being, only to turn around and be like "anyway too bad if you have a lesbian/gay character, they're DOIN THE HET SEX NOW"

Yes, it was shitty. But Assassin's Creed was never going to be about individual choice, no matter how much they liked to pretend it was. That franchise never was a multiple choice/free decision making RPG so I don't know why they even started with that. But knowing the games, it was always going to come down to het babies so I don't know why everyone's so surprised right now. And quite honestly, surprised at Ubisoft making dumb decisions? Really? Annoyed? Sure. But surprised? Eh.

(Personally, I was more annoyed at Fallout 4 back in the day because that one actually was supposed to be a free choice "play your own role" kind of RPG and it still made you have a kid from the get go, no choice about it.)
