Tyler Durden is probably number 1 on the list. In recent years it’s definitely become Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty because R&M fans are on another level.

He’s not at all but he appeals to the mindset of people who think they’re smarter than they actually are and is how you get idiotic dudebros screaming about special and unique snowflakes as if they’re not just as conformist as the people in fight club. It’s not like Fight Club is even all that smart of a movie but it somehow attracts pretentiousness.

Nah, it's not being a fan of the show that's a red flag (I think it's great), it's specifically the fans who go "Rick is a great human being, and anyone who criticizes his actions just isn't smart enough to appreciate him like I do."
