Oh wow, need to criticize me so badly you make things up. I actually went back to check what I said to make sure. Nope. I said I didn't see a point to it. As in, my opinion. I don't want it. Never said I didn't understand anyone disagreeing with me and in fact explicitly supported disagreeing with me.

I know you're trying to make that sound like they're two different things, but... nope. The anon who said you had a double standard for yourself vs. others was correct. You do. It's not subtle at all.

Okay, how is saying I don't want something to be made remotely the same as saying I can't understand how anyone could have an opinion different than mine? Not the same thing at all, and I genuinely don't understand why you would say they are. I have made comments I regret, and I'm happy to admit that. But that one wasn't one of them.

And for the record, I'm very firmly on the side of opinion. I think I've been consistent in saying that I believe that people can hold what opinions they want and that I have a problem with people telling other people their opinions on media are wrong. If I haven't, well then I am sorry because I don't believe in forcing opinions on other people.

NAYRT - Honestly, if you've never felt so firmly and passionately about something that it baffled you other people felt differently, that's something I find really weird.

About real life issues, sure. But about media? Media opinions, to me, are entirely subjective. What people enjoy is going to vary, and it is not weird to me that someone loves something I hate and vice versa.

There's none of the Doctors I really dislike (I will admit that I don't love 6, but I haven't listened to any of his BF stuff so I can't exactly say that I've given him a fair shot). But 7... just the perfect combination of kindness, whimsy, cleverness, depth, wisdom, ferocity, moral seriousness, and fun. Gosh, I love him.
