Sting was originally a bad guy! But Morning Glory helped him turn around, and he wound up helping the Flutter Ponies fight this group of evil bees! \o/

145. The episode Sting is in is a ten-parter (each part being like 9 minutes or so), so there was room for development. Anyway, in The End of Flutter Valley, Sting is right-hand bee to the villain of the story, Queen Bumble, who steals the sunstone from Flutter Valley to make her own kingdom flourish, and then captures the Flutter Ponies when they go after it. The only one who managed to escape was Morning Glory, so when she was recaptured, Bumble ordered Sting to guard her personally, leading to him having a change of heart and helping the Flutter Ponies. Of course, there's a lot more to it than just that, and I'm sure the episodes are on Youtube, so check it out, especially since Sting is voiced by Michael Bell (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0068407/).
