110 You know, if you're selling your real life--not your abilities as an actor/singer/personality, not your appearance on a competition reality show that could help your career as a singer/dancer/designer/chef/etc or just win you money, but cameras following you around your "real life"--I think you forfeit some expectation of privacy. I mean, Nick and Jessica wanting privacy when they were getting a divorce, when they'd just been selling us their relationship on television for two or three years? Please.

111 Well, that dovetails with her getting her life in order and also, she's been making some interesting and insightful blog posts lately. Who knew?

135 I got that vibe too! But then they went back to Hogwarts and there was that HUG so I feel it was Seamus and Dean at the end. ^_^

138 You know, what you are interested in with fiction and what you do in real life has nothing to do with how you want to fanfic. Fanfic tends to romance I think because it's an extreme way to look at the relationship between two people and also fits in with society's tendency to elevate romantic relationships above others in terms of importance. I mean, my best friend for 20 years, since we were teenagers, is a straight guy (i'm a straight gal) and we never 'got together' and never would, but I'm a big Harry-Hermione shipper in fanon.

158 People hate Kyoya? Seriously? He's my absolute favorite character on that show! Is it because of Harohi shipping?

188 It really does Brokeback Mountain a disservice to think it's a gay film and that's all it is; it's much more about a dying way of life in the American rural west than anything else.

Wow, I never thought of it as a pastoral film, but you're right, I think it totally is. Like My Antonia (which I hated) with buttsex. I'm going to have to rewatch it with this in mind.
