Slept in, showered and dressed and went grocery shopping. Got coffee and then had a mani-pedi appointment and my nails look great (herringbone tweed pattern in nude and chocolate brown cream on my fingernails and the same chocolate brown on toes). I'm going to watch the Warriors game later, and I have to work tomorrow so I'm going to try to be in bed by 9:30 this evening.

literally spent all day arranging lists and scries and things on Flight Rising and chatting in my flight's discord. Oh and I washed some laundry.

Arguing with strangers on the internet! Also some knitting.
[The argument is over a manga-style ad that whitewashed a brown tennis player. A whole bunch of people are claiming that whitewashing is just a feature of manga and that manga never contains brown people; or otherwise that accusing non-white people of whitewashing is racist]
[And I'm knitting a scarf using some pretty shitty acrylic, but I've never actually finished a knitting project before so I didn't want to use the nice yarn]

Filling out tax workbooks yay!!!!

My boss and I are being very lackadaisical about it this year. We're just like, gov't's shut down. Whatever. There's probably gonna be a filing extension anyways so the IRS doesn't drown in their backed up work.

Hung out , took a walk and cried watching Army Wives with Mom because I forgot to take my meds today.

Waiting to hear back from Walmart so my new job can start. Full Time stock and inventory , woo!

She’s always seemed iffy to me with her tans/filters and blaccent. I can’t believe there was no intent at all behind seeming ethnically ambiguous/Latina. She definitely follows the long tradition of being celebrated for exploiting black culture/talent by the same people who ignore/mock black artists, etc. Seeing her take it off and kinda do “whiteface” (fake freckles, etc) for Vogue was funny/sad. But her newest album cover is beyond to me, she just outright went for the ashy look. It’s so blatant how is this not a bigger deal? That can’t be handwavd as Italians tan!!
